The dinner you made looks so yummy!! I want to come over to your house now. *lol*

And the dress you made is incredible! The way the pattern comes together at the waist is really cool. I'm sure it will look amazing when you wear it.

Oh!! Ever After dress!! When I saw that movie, I totally wanted that dress too. Actually, still do!

Isn't that vogue pattern neat? I bought it as soon as I saw it. One of these days I want to try making one out of striped fabric, not plaid.

I love the everafter dress. I'v been hesitent in making one though since they kinda have a stigma in costuming groups. I just really love that dress too.

Hey, I remember you posted a tutorial for lolifying a yukata once, do you still have that?

Don't worry about the costume circles, just make what you like! Maybe if you were wearing to a SCA thingy people might get all antsy, but recently a lot of people have been doing Pirates of the Caribbean costumes. If they're getting uppity because of the "authenticity" thing, then isn't PoTC not all that authentic?

As for the yukata tutorial, here's one post with (brief) step-by-step photos.

clicky!

Are you thinking of modifying a yukata? If so, awesome!! If you have any questions, just let me know and I'll try to answer them. (^^)v

I think it was more at the time everyone was ether making one, or that all costumers at some time get asked to make one. So it's more they're sick of it.

Thanks for the pictures/tutorial, sometimes it just helps my brian to see it. I dont know when i'll get around to working on the yukata (I'v had it stashed in my clost for a while) I have some other stuff to finish too. I'll try and remember to post photos when I get to it.
