That is some perseverance, sewing a hat together that is fused buckram only! Curved needles are your friend, and pliers paired with them even better.

Also, finished product is so yummy!

Haha, yes, the fused buckram ended up being a bad Idea :) My fingers were not happy about it. I remembered to use a curved needle, but totally did not think of pliers! (Next time!)
