For the moment, her mind was free of all the grief she'd had to deal with. Though, who knows how long that will last.]

She watches him sadly, turning around to head back out the door. Back out where maybe she could escape the horrible thoughts that swirled endlessly in her mind.

And to top it all off, finding out that the man she loved, didn't even care for her.

She hoped he didn't see her, that maybe the ornaments had distracted him long enough so that she'd be able to leave before he even realized she had been there]
