I had some issues with the first half of this season, mostly to do with Sam--not that he had his fling with normality, a girlfriend and a dog, but that the show seemed to blame him for doing that. Probably the most life-changing book I've read this year--or for several years--is Emily P. Freeman's Grace for the Good Girl: Letting Go of the Try-Hard Life.

I really wanted to get a better head start on the List of Ten this year, since I didn't get all my books off last year's list read. And I'm doing better so far. I've finished one book, I'm over halfway through another, and I have a third waiting in the wings.

The halfway mark, only 8 months into the year. Maybe I'll actually get all of the books on this list read. :)

This was a difficult, absorbing book--so full of ideas that I often had to take a few days' break between chapters or sections in order to assimilate what I'd already read.
