I knew I recognized the start of that immediately! The first paragraph is from A Muppets Christmas Carol. <3 Although, lovely quote.

Indeed, the entire quote is from Dickens' original novella, A Christmas Carol, of which the Muppet version is my favorite adaptation! :)

A most excellent passage. That's one of my favorite Christmas tails (the George C. Scott version being my absolute favorite rendition).

We had a lovely Christmas, and I'm going to watch the George C. Scott film for the first time sometime this week (we planned to watch it before Christmas but didn't have time). I'm excited!
