I've made a list of films I'm hoping to catch while we're there, including:
Abraxas . . . about a punk-rocker-turned-Buddist-monk, who *needs* music in his life, and how his . . . priest? . . . figures out a way for him to combine sacred and secular. Abraxas
The Bengali Detective . . . which . . . the description must be read to be understood. Imagine a Bollywood detective action/adventure. I think. The Bengali Detective.
The Guard . . . about a crusty Irish cop and a straitlaced US FBI agent who's tracking an international criminal. The Guard.
The Troll Hunter . . . Norwegian X-Files . . . sort of . . . The Troll Hunter.
There are a lot of other movies I'd like to see, but we'll have to see how they fit in with Geo's schedule.
And yes, I did get your lovely email! It's there in my head, I just have to make time to get it out of my head...
Abraxas sounds amazing. And I'm sure I've heard of The Troll Hunter. You'll have to take notes for those of us not yet cool enough to go to Sundance! :-D
