Uh...hi?

It appears that I haven't posted for 6 days. Um, sorry? That's kind of unusual, I know. It's not even that I've been running around like a crazy person or wrapped up in a great new script or anything. I've just been slow, trying to keep everything balanced, and depressed and not coming up with stuff to post.

A couple of quick catch-up notes:

Boo to lack of publicity and stupid timeslots. They aired the pilot here on Space at... 5pm! 5! People are coming home from work then! What idiots. Anyway. I'm gonna try to catch it streaming off the Space website.

I'm sorry your spec is having trouble. Hugs!!

And MORE HUGS because YES you are loved, silly. Lots and lots of love. Praying for you. Pray for me too?

Always praying for you. :)

Wow, that's an even dumber timeslot than here! At least Sunday nights @ ten might get people who are crashed and channel-surfing after their weekend.

Love! It's a great thing. *hugs*

Someone else on my f-list just recced Defying Gravity, so I think I'll give it a try on Hulu on my lunch-hours. Have you seen all the episodes so far? What's your take on it now-- is it going to be worth following?

I'm caught up on DG, yes. It's...hmmm. It's continuing to have the awesome bits that I like--the actual scifi stuff, cool social tidbits that help me believe its future setting (example: abortion is illegal in the US), and there's an overarching mystery going on that is LOST-style interesting.

Otoh, it keeps reminding me of Grey's Anatomy in tone. My boyfriend objected that the entire group is too dysfunctional to actually have made it through astronaut training...but as I reminded him, that's actually part of the plot/mystery/etc. (The writers hung a tiny, very polite lantern on this in the pilot.)

So...you should try it. But if for some reason the soap-opera-ness isn't your deal, I totally understand. I may or may not ditch it; it's sort of on positive probation right now. :)
