But first--yeesh, work's crazy today. Finally I got to go to lunch, but it's been fix this, fix that, talk to five different people about the same dang problem multiple times.... Wow. I think I may just go home and collapse tonight. Wouldn't mind a nap right now.
On to a few more things from the Con:

You totally should have got Corin's autograph. That man does not get the love he deserves.

I agree. He wasn't Daniel, but he was a good character in his own right, and Corin made the absolute best he could of the situation. And he's quite attractive. One wants to hug and pet him. Not that I would embarrass the actor by actually doing so...but I should have gotten his autograph and gushed about Jonas.

I wanna see piccies!
and was kind of disappointed that up until late afternoon I hadn't had anyone comment on it. It's not that bad a costume, really. :-)
Imo, Firefly costumes are the kind of subtle (well, more subtle than, say, Darth Maul) costumes that unless the person knows what s/he is seeing (i.e., they recognize the show), you probably won't get a ton comments. Which makes comments all the more fun because you know the person commenting *knows* what you're talking about. :-)
and the guys manning the sgcommand.com (props) booth grinned at me and simply said, "Shiny."
Why can I *so* see this happening? *bg*
But the best was an older guy in the crowd as we waited to cross the street into the Gaslamp district to find food. He called out "Kaylee!" till he got my attention, then asked if he could take my picture. "You're the second Kaylee I've seen today; I'm collecting them."That's too funny! If I didn't know better, I think I'd be scared ( ... )

Hee. I'll try! I actually have some from last Halloween, which is when I first threw this together.

Heh, that's true enough. Which is why it was fun to have my alter-ego's name yelled from across the room.

I found it quite amusing, since I was geeking out over their 'zat guns at the time, and then they started talking about Firefly after saying that. Reciprocal geekiness. Yes. :-D
