"Did his sire think that watching his father die foolishly would endear him to the course of compassion?" Sheer brilliance! I had never thought of that! This character is so complicated, I love your characterization of Sesshomaru. Many people write him as being cold and heartless. He is cold, but not heartless. Wonderful story though.
