Awe thank you! That makes me so happy to hear (sorry about the tears). I've been thinking about this particular sort of one-shot since I read that chapter and this week gave me the perfect opportunity to use it. I'm glad you enjoyed the read :)
Thank you :) Honestly, when I read the manga chapter I was really impressed with both of them, Kagome and Inuyasha, and their tenacity. I'm not sure I would've been strong enough to do what they did. It's truly admirable. Thanks for taking the time to review :)
Lol... 225, the magic number. But in all seriousness, the emotion in this story was gorgeous and the interaction between Inuyasha and Kagome was priceless.
And it's wonderful that all the 'baggage' is gone from their relationship-- Inuyasha's tie to the undead Kikyou and Kagome's yellow backpack that tied her to the 'future', or rather, Kgaome's past. ^-^
Hahaha I don't know why I chose 225... I suppose it just sounded write at the time? I think I thought anything higher would make her sound masochistic ;)
Thank you for your kind words re the story though. I definitely think it was necessary for them both to lose the 'baggage' they carried before they could move forward together.
It shocked me the first time I read that chapter (ok, truthfully the second time - the first time I was too GAH! OMG! What's gonna happen? Are they gonna kiss? fangirling) that she went back to him with nothing but the clothes on her back, but after thinking about it, it only seemed to make sense.
Thanks ever so much for your review. It was very kind :)
Nice story. Some times we have to survive in places that we do not want to be because we have a hope that someday our wish will granted and we will be allowed to be with the one we love.
