Oh very nice family moment. I think you wrote a piece about IY learning to weave baskets in Kagome's absence, is this a continuation of it? You are being quite consistent in creating your post-canon world and I really hope one day you'll tie these stories together and make a novel out of it. Loved your comparison between team-mates and family members. Great job!

I'm glad you liked it. I wanted to have Kagome make the comment about covering eachother's weak spots but I had trouble coming up with something that Inuyasha could have trouble with. Then I remembered the entry I wrote for Baskets on FirstTweak where Inuyasha made a basket for their son. So I decided what if Inuyasha is really good at making furniture? There could be plenty of delicate parts that he might have trouble with because of his strength. Though I think you're confusing my story with Britedark's.
