This is nicely written. The best part is that the author didn't have to resort to Miroku "groping" as a plot point.
As far as the characters are concerned, I think that the author did well. We've seen time and again that despite his own wounds, Miroku concern for Sango outweighs self preservation. Also, this author does a nice job of portraying the shyness of Sango when it comes to things physical.
