Today was my regularly scheduled day off and it's very lovely. Low humidity, low 80s, sunshine and cool breezes - the kind of late spring day we've mostly been denied this year. Starting tomorrow it climbs into the 90s with higher humidity. So I'm sucking up the loveliness today ( Read more... )

Mmmm, that pie does sound awesome. I'd have to find a way to 'de-carb' the crust, though. Probably by substituting at least half of the graham cracker crumbs with ground almonds. Ground almonds make a very tasty crust with a fraction of the carbs.
