I've got a guitar part in my head. Unconsciously, I'm thinking of photography terms and the correct formatting for screenplays, which are so much more useful to know than chemical compositions and how to balance equations. I mean, honestly? I don't think it matters a bit. Who cares about a few tiny atoms strung together a certain way? Knowing those ( Read more... )

That's really pretty bleak, I wish the world would be more like in children's books, where everything you learn will serve you well someday and the pursuit of knowledge is the noblest thing. Like The Phantom Tollbooth. You don't have a choice in going to school, but at least everything is worth it.

I saw a house once, it was painted a dull green and things that had been painted red had been stuck all over it on all sides. Like, a red bike and a red tuba and red chairs and red plates, and stuff like that.

I doubt that has any revelance to the subject, but you mentioned a house and I thought of that one suddenly and I just loved it so much.

Anyway. Sometimes people don't have to work hard at all to have money. Sometimes they're just born with it all.
