Wow, I just spent the last hour and a half reading this story and I was just blown away. I am a huge fan of RPF and this is by far my favorite story. Well written and heartfelt. Just beautiful.

Thing was both one of the easiest and hardest things I've ever written (the first few stabs at the first part looked almost nothing like what you read), and I'm genuinely touched whenever someone takes the time to say something so kind about it. (Especially now, since I've reposted everything here and it doesn't have the benefit of 80+comments to get someone's attention.)

Aw, I'm sorry your hubbie got annoyed (I know what that's like - mine came home recently around one o'clock and I told him I'd be ready to sleep soon - then stayed up until almost four writing porn - hahaha), but I'm really glad you liked it. :)
