It'll be interesting to see how the emotions come across with the new structure. It's reading a lot different than originally intended, and I think it could be either good or bad. I need to get further into it before I know for sure. It's not going to be as long as originally envisioned, though. I think that's going to help it, in the long run. :>

I can only hope it'll live up to your expectations, once it's posted.

(Incidentally. I'm more or less scraping over 10k of what I'd already written, so chances are good that I'll post it as a sort of prologue once the big bang itself is posted.)

eh, seeing as it's *you* writing, i'm not very worried about expectations not being lived up to. as to length, i'm sure you know best! ah, such a pity you have to scrap so much though. maybe keep a hold of it and post it as a bonus feature afterward?

I'm definitely going to post the stuff I'm scrapping - some of it is still going to work its way into the main story through flashbacks, but there's a lot that won't be used that I really hate to say good-bye to. (Lea Michele using Jonathon Groff's phone number to bribe a bouncer to let a still-eighteen year-old Chris into a club being one of them.) Like I said - I'm going to mark it as kind of a prologue. :)

You remember what they looked like from that ghastly photoset i posted after "The First Time", I hope. If not, then better for your memory.

Anyway, i was making those faces the whole time I read this because this is just so sweet and lovely and touching and made me want to go hug a kitten or something. :) It's just..dreamy, an absolutely perfect first time that made me smile and feel so utterly warm and loved inside which is kind of crazy because i'm sitting in a room by myself freezing my ass off, but you know what i mean. :)

Aawwww...that almost makes me feel bad about how the fic proper is (hopefully) going to rip your heart out and stomp it into the floor.

I've been wanting to write some serious angst for them for a while, and this is going to be it. ;>

I'm very nervous about the completed story, but I hope that at least some people will like it when it's done. I'm currently on my third attempt (with the deadline looming fast), but I think this one might be the one that works. Fingers crossed!
