Lots of people think if anything was to happen that it would be Darren turning Chris down but I agree that there's a good possibility it would be the other way.

I've read plenty of angst fic lately and this is good :)

For some reason, whenever I've tried writing anything about them, it has always been Darren that falls first. Maybe it's the whole idea that Chris would be too sensible to fall for someone he wouldn't see as a viable prospect, maybe it's something else, but I do sometimes find it interesting to think about a situation where Darren's legitimately pining and rejected.

This is quite amazing, and the whole "fearless" speech really makes a very good point. Not that I think this about Darren, nor that I think Chris does, necessarily, but...I could see how one would feel this way. Really well done.
