Do you use a sewing machine, or it's all needle & thread? Also, looking at everything you have set up, how do you figure out the shape for each of the pieces that are put together - is there a pattern you work from?
Unfortunately, I do not have any patterns so I am just sort of faking it from real patterns. This does not really work because doll anatomy doesn't make any sense. Also, when sewing on this scale, every tiny mistake becomes amplified. Normally if you're slightly off on a seam of something, no one will ever notice, but when things are so tiny, the smallest change makes a huge difference.
Also I use a machine most of the time but sometimes I have to go back and reinforce with hand sewing. The sleeves especially have to be sewn by hand!
