#209: Icons

Here is what I refer to as my main set for the current somein30 challenge. It uses hard mode and I have to say that I'm rather proud of it. Not because the icons are particularly usable, but it was quite the project. Again, not even the icons itself, but finding the right subjects/screencaps, how to interpret certain songs, and make it all fit together.

I really like the gray colorings and the techno/retro style on them! Such a different style for you, and I really enjoy it :) 6, 7, 10 and 13 are my faves :)

OH MY GOD :O This has got to be one of the coolest sets ever. Even just opening it I immediately noticed how cohesive and well put together these look, and reading about the inspiration this just seems SO fitting in every way! What an incredible work of art. While I particularly love the set as a whole, the individual icons look great too of course, I loooove the muted tones and the compositions are just super creative here. Even the ~digital font choices support the overall look

Wow, I really love the concept of this set, you made an amazing job! ♥
The grey tones are just to die for and the compositions are very original! My favourites are 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 16!

oh wow, I love these! I'm always in awe of anyone who can make really good muted/b&w icons, and the colouring (along with the techno vibe) gives the whole set a really cohesive look. my faves are 1, 6, 11 and 12 :)
