#207: Icons

Look who enters a second challenge this month! And without an extension. I couldn't resist this inspiration post either. These should all be extra hard mode. It actually seemed easier since I picked one fandom, so using provided textures for the icons worked well. I'm looking forward to Part 2. Maybe in that round I'll actually icon musicians

The composition and coloring of 2 and 6 look gorgeous and I loved negative space in 2 <3. The dark tone and the animation effect on the sword look so cool in 5.
The crop of 3 is lovely and coloring suit it. And the lighting of 8 is very pretty and adds character to the icon.

Wow I envy your ability to do two challenges in a month 😅 But hey these are gorgeous!! I love that you found so many ways to use the various provided textures.
Ok so 4 is definitely my favorite, I just LOVED it from the moment I saw it in the examples - it has so many great things, from the extreme level of grunge to the bw+pop of color style and the super matte look. It's hard to make an icon this dark yet still have the subject be clearly visibile, great job!

On the other side of the brightness spectrum, I also LOVE 1 - so fun and vibrant! 2 is gorgeous too, the sharpness is just spot on and I love the overlaying of multiple textures (at least I think what's going on cause the bg looks so intricate without having too much of any single texture). The coloring is also A+++, really gorgeous combination. The two classical inspired icons are super pretty as well, love the textures you chose and the light background colors which make the subjects stand out. Also the lighting in 8 is everything, wow!

I cannot remember the last time I managed to do that! The inspiration posts were both so good thanks to awesome mods like yourself ;)

4 is the first icon I made for the set and also my personal favorite. I knew I wanted to make something like that as soon as I saw the texture.
I was kinda struggling with the Hip Hop theme, so multiple textures it was lol

1 - Stunning vibrant coloring and the lighting! I love space texture on the bg
2 - Wonderful background! The colors fit perfectly here
4&5 - Love the grunge style here so much!<3 The strong contrast is magnificent and I love the moving effect on 5! I love the sharpening so much!♥
6 - Love the sparkle; it's so beautiful and the frame fit there perfectly
9 - Love the bird on the back! Stunning contrast, too!
