#145: Icons
Two posts in one week! I could have waited until Monday when the 10in30 set is due, but I wanted to post these before the new episode of Black Sails.

[explanation/inspiration/notes which contain a little bit of speculation for S3 and not everything makes sense if you do not watch the show]
Since not everyone knows about the specific challenge I'll start with the theme which was starcrossed lovers (click the link for more information).
The first five icons are all from 2x05 for obvious reasons. It's really hard to icon the kiss or rather this specific scene :(
The other five icons are in chronological order, starting with Flint alone at the beginning of the season. All of these are also kind of connected to the flashbacks (only 9 directly comes from one) and with that his previous relationship with Thomas in my head. Silver does play a role in them, but I never put him into focus. Longing is kind of Flint's default mode and I believe Silver has a strong role in that, but if that pairing really happens romantically? No idea, I'd say the chances are 50/50 right now. In any case, these two will form a strong partnership though that will help Flint get closer to what he is longing for, whether that is a romantic/sexual relationship or power over Nassau, probably hopefully both *coughs*
There are two icons with text and I used the same font and similar placement to parallel the two different relationships. There are better quotes in S3, but they would have been a little long.
I have a lot of feelings about gay and potentially gay pirates.
