Oh these are fantastic! first of all, I'm thrilled to see you found a new technique you like from the tut - copper gradients are so much fun! I learned that trick from one of fuuurs's tutorials a long time ago. And I really love your results with it, the vintage browns and greens look amazing, and the tex ton the personification text icon is just awesomely creative :>

I also really love the lighting and vibrancy on Glowy look, the creative way you used the geometric textures with the silhouette in Big geometric textures, the intense contrast and lime colors in cat1, the texture blend in cat4 (this entire category set is stunning though so looks like you've picked the perfect things to focus on for new year resolutions), and the utterly amazing vintage coloring + grunginess on ac4!
also, love 3, 4, 8 and especially 6 (gorgeous texture use, and this includes both the subtle smokiness and the connect-the-dots texture; really love the light blues as well) in the misc section. Really awesome icon batch!!

I felt like I was subconsciously ripping you off. I tried make my own blueish-gray gradient with a similar effect which kinda worked, but the copper one is much better! It took me ages to settle on a shape for the Personification Text icon, so I'm happy you like it :D

Thank you so much for the lovely in-depth comment. I really hope that I manage to work on these resolutions.

Oh the copper gradient is the same one that fuuurs used in her tuts, so, I hope using the same gradient isn't a ripoff! :D I think it's a default PS gradient anyway, it's not like it was some secret ingredient invented by either of us, so, use it all you like :) it really does work very well to bring out lovely browns in almost any cap!

I just checked, it's really one of the default gradients lol
I'm so in love with this set, I always forget to look at other gradients.
