To say that Anthony was a criminal mastermind would be to delude yourself. Anthony was just a producer, and being a producer he was quite familiar with plots. He had formed one on the way back to Los Angeles, down to the detail, and was ready to start Act One

"Afternoon, Mister Almeida," she greeted, gathering up phone messages. The smile she gave him, looking up from her work, was sickly-sweet. Saccharine to the max. She'd been sitting on her secret for a while now. So was Michael. "How are you doing today?"

"I'm good," he replied. He lifted his hand and began to tap on the surface of her desk.

"You're fired."

Both of Bonnie's eyebrows raised. And that smile didn't vanish. "Oh, really?" she asked.

That was as good a way to segue to her news as any.

"Funny. I'm more in the opinion that it's time I got a promotion. Like... oh, secondary lead in one of your films."
