I had an absolute shit of a day in which, amongst other things, I took a chunk out of my finger with a staple remover. Not even exaggerating. Again, I agree with everything you said about House. Of course you put it in much more formal prose rather than what I did- keysmashing. This was a joy to read, and I think this season has great potential, I think it will be really enjoyable and amazing. Katie Jacobs did a fucking fantastic job setting it all up for us. ♥

I am so happy to have House back, too. It just feels right. ♥

God, I missed your recaps (almost) just as much as I missed House! :)

You make so many amazing points here. I just sat here, smiling and nodding along with everything you said.

He wants to be happy, and at the end of last season, with his delusion, he was. Shattering it is what got him there, in essence. Obviously when thinking rationally, you wouldn't resent that - but it was interesting. In a subtle way, if you wanted to, you could absolutely read that as being further confirmation that he wants Cuddy, that Cuddy would make him happy. In his state of delusion, where he had her, he was happy.

What an amazing observation! I actually wondered why he did what he did for/with superhero, but your explanation makes so much sense.
