Hi there.  I'm stuck up at reception.  So... I figured, maybe I should check out the old LJ, which I haven't done in a good long while.
So let's see, what's going on with me?  I've gotten two promotions in the last six months and I'm still the only one that they want to work at reception when the brokerage receptionist is out.  Which, I'm sorry ( Read more... )

Aw, thank you. You should come visit again. We've got ourselves a brand spanking new COMFY couch. Srsly. It's comfy.

AH! You totally should! LA is fun. Kind of hot and dirty, but fun. I saw Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore in a car on the freeway yesterday.

I am really happy. Congrats on your new baby, by the way. I've been so busy I haven't had time to think. Plus, right now our computer is still in a box somewhere. We haven't unpacked it yet.

Glad you're doing well.

Your new place near the old one?

Glad to hear that Nick and Memphis are good.

Our new place is in North Hollywood. So, It's probably ten miles from our old place. But it's an easier distance because we're right near, like, three major freeways.

Ah, so no more scary Target, but you make up for it by being in The Valley.

Win?

They shouldn't make you be a receptionist when it isn't your job. It sounds like they should hire someone new or at the very least a temp.

I'm glad to hear from you and that you have a new place without roommates. I hope things continue to be good for you.

As for me, my left ankle and calf seized up for unknown reasons (we're still working on it) and I couldn't push off with that foot. Also, I no longer have independent control over the middle finger on my left hand without effort so I only can type with my thumb and forefinger on that hand. I'm in physiotherapy for both my hand and leg. It looks like I'm going to have to use a cane at least in the short term.

Also, since everyone else has had a chance to read it, I'll give you the chance too. A story about something that happened to me as a teenager. Be forewarned, it isn't good.
