i swear to god i was talking to someone about discalculia a few weeks ago. you clearly were not involved in the conversation or else i'd have diagnosed you with my internet MD.
lmao i love your bad eyes. bad eyes run in my family. i need a new prescription which might be bad because i have a really thick lens in my one eye which barely fits in my glasses anyways, so hopefully it hasn't gotten WORSE and i'll just have to give up and start using a telescope or something. i think the last time i went the doctor told me i have like holes in my retina or something and he was like DON'T WORRY IT'S NBD and i was like OKAY HOLES IN MY RETINA THAT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE I'M GOING BLIND AT ALL IF YOU SAY SO.
If you get an eyepatch for driving you totally need a custom proclamatory license plate. "patchgrl" perhaps?
No, seriously. It's good that you figured it out and that it's treatable. I just got my glasses in around October, and I was so skeptical over them. Lo and behold, I'm so reliant and attached to them now that I forget and wear them into the shower sometimes. You already wear glasses so I'm sure it'll be an even easier transition for you. TL;DR: YAY GLASSES.
I've had glasses since I was like 11 I think? And yeah I've totally worn them in the shower by accident a few times. Or I fall asleep and accidentally sleep on them and bend them.
