I don't want to hear people say it doesn't get cold in Florida, because it is now currently 27 degrees outside, right this very minute. IT IS BELOW FREEZING. I know there are other places in the USA where it's colder, like below zero craziness, but 27 degrees? Is still really, really, uncomfortably cold. The walls of this building I'm here are solid concrete. I have the AC at 71 with the fan on, and I wish I had a ceiling fan or could open the window. Uber insulation. I'm the opposite, I prefer the cold because I can counter the effects by adding more clothing. When it's hot, there's not much to do.

Oh, and I have to go outside during the day. Even the cloudless sky with the sun shining brightly does nothing when there's a good wind. Floridians just don't have winter clothing, and I'm on my skateboard.

That does suck for you. Do you even have clothes that'll keep you warm enough. I think I owned like...two sweaters and a jacket when I lived in Florida.

In the north though, especially after the week we just had, 27 degrees is welcoming and warm.

There was a thick layer of ice on my windshield this morning and...I seriously just did not know what to do.

What did you end up doing?

I think it was colder in FL yesterday than it was in MI. Apparently we had a heat wave. Yesterday the temp. was above freezing for the first time in two or three weeks.
