i'm way overdue for an lj post, so i'm checking in to say i'm still alive. life is quite a bit different than it used to be. when i moved to dc, i thought i'd never come back to pa to live. i also thought i was in no hurry to reproduce. we got married 7/28/07, and just over a year later, we were pregnant. for some reason, we did that on purpose... yes, yes you do! i know what you mean, as i'm booked up pretty much every weekend now that i'm doing my parties. it's good to be busy, though! but we miss you!

First, yes yes yes about being a D.C. area mom until 30. You may as well be twelve. When we showed up at our first birth class, I think everyone did a double-take. Thankfully, a friend of mine who just had her 2nd and is nearly 40 told me that she envied me because she felt that she would've had more energy had she had her 1st child in her 20s. It was just nice to be reminded that there were perks ( ... )

Hi sweetie! I feel like the biggest jerk 'cause you wrote a lovely response to my post and I didn't even find it until now! For some reason I'm not getting comments emailed to me and I kept forgetting to check back. Things are too hectic for me to stay on top of these things. :)

Anyway, I'm so glad that you connected and benefited from my ramblings, and that we've been able to reach out to each other, in a way. It's so important to have that, I think. So, yay! Hugs to you! I'm a bigger jerk because it took me so long to respond!! It's just that every time I sit down at a computer, I get a limited amount of time to accomplish all the things I want to do. I'm sure you understand!

I really appreciate you reaching out and I definitely will take up you up on talking about mommy things. Things are going so fast, I feel like my world is spinning and there are always times that I wish I had some to relate it to. Hope all is well with you and the family!
