Earthquakes in the middle of the day are ALWAYS AWESOME. Especially when you work in a daycare.

That was a 5.8 on the richter scale, apparently! I just stood there watching everything shake for a couple seconds before I realized EAAARTHQUAAAAKE!

What is the point of moving out of the midwest if it just follows you.

A-ok here. In Baltimore it was less than half a minute of gentle shaking. Weird, but not scary. I did get off work 2 hours early though.

How were the kids, were they scared or did they think it was neat?

Yeah, it was more bizarre than frightening for me, too. Awesome that you got let off early, though.

The kids were half and half, some thought it was cool, others thought it was scary. Two of them freaked out and were crying/screaming, so I had to calm them down afterwards with lemonade.
