So, I watched the midnight showing of Harry Potter.

Guh. I can't formulate an actual review just yet, because I am still all caught up in the experience. That, and I am e-fucking-xhausted and am trying to prepare myself for work with the kiddies. That Alan Rickman quote!!!!

I'm going to see it on Saturday, I think. SO EXCITED!

I had a student who dressed up as the snitch for hallow'een and was so upset when not many people recognized what he was. Poor kid.

YESS that Alan Rickman quote is adorable. I love that he got into his role that much. XD Enjoy watching it!

And aww, that poor kid. I made a kid a golden snitch hat and he wore it to Chick Fil A. Kids these days, no appreciation for the good stuff. Unless you...do what I do and shove their faces into it, I guess.

Yesssss, all of this. It was, frankly, a magnificent experience. I was so emotionally drained from excitement and an ocean of tears by the end, but I didn't care. I loved every minute. My entire theater was openly sobbing during all of The Prince's Tale. Movie!Snape, this is why you're one of my favorites. Oh, Alan Rickman. What more is there to say?

It wasn't completely perfect, but what they got right was good enough for me. I'm thrilled.
