ANYWAYS, I just clicked on the link and shit I was actually curious about her work since it WAS female oriented and Native, which I find so freaking rare in media in general. Had it recommended to me too.

Why aren't they comparable, and in what way do they fail to be comparable? Are you arguing that the ancient white European traditions are much richer, or much poorer? If either, why?

Patricia Briggs, you do not, in any way, see that Native people, whose culture and traditions and people have been genocided and erased and forcibly wiped out will be legitimately offended by you taking their culture, no matter how 'respectful' your intent was?

What do genocides and erasures and forcible annihilations by other people have to do with Briggs? What about the forcible annihilation of pre-Christian European mythologies? Why doesn't this count?

You really think these people are going to be offended, not because you took something that is solely theirs (and it is, because it is the only thing they have for themselves,) ...
