Thanks to its popularity on my flist and among other internet buddies, I have checked out the first episode of Misfits.

I WANT TO GIVE EVERYONE IN IT A HUG. (Not the dead probation officer though.)

And NOW I have to go to work. Dammit.

misfits, tv, happiness

I have not really paid attention to this show, I have it on Netflix I think...if you watch enough to give a low down on it, I'd really appreciate it.

Just finished season 2 of United States of Tara and looking for something to fill the void until season 3.

I think I'd like to talk to you about it over chat rather than have you trust my eventual review on it. so far I'm finding myself enjoying the show, but there is undoubtedly triggery content in there due to the powers of one of the female main characters. Her ability is pheromone manipulation - when she touches someone, they immediately want to have sex with her. This power is played with them suddenly having bulging, steroid-esque veins and growling crude sexual comments. I think they could fail a lot more with this ability than they really have, but it's still undoubtedly shifty ground for viewers.

That'd work but for the next week or so I'm rarely going to be online. Maybe after the season's holidays I'll have more of a chance to catch up with you.

WHAT DO YOU SHIP?

AND IS OR IS NOT NATHAN THE MOST HILARIOUS BASTARD EVER Y/Y.

I ACTUALLY SHIP NOTHING AS OF YET? BUT I AM MOST LEANING TOWARDS ALISHA AND SIMON MAYBE.

Nathan has funny moments (mainly when he's making himself look like an idiot or he's reacting to the chaos around him by saying things like: "Can we PLEASE stop killing our probation workers?") but I cycle through finding him obnoxious, wanting to punch him in his face, and finding him strangely endearing.

Oh, god. I am watching the hell out of this. It's just as bad as Doctor Who in having me give up all of my free time to mindlessly watch episode after episode.
