Trust me, I've been following and raging myself over this. My facebook has been full of cursing and swearing. The fact that Switzerland refused to send him back on US Supreme Courts demands is just sickening.

The fact that yes, so many people defend him sicken me more and destroy my desire to watch any movie with those people in it.

Did you know they're calling it 'illegal sex'? Not 'rape'...no, 'illegal sex'. Which is so much rage and bullshit I can't even comprehend the proper words to spew in their direction.

I'm honestly not as pissed with Switzerland as I am with the US gov. for not making sure all the damn paperwork was in order, for the love of shit. It's so stupidly typical of them.

Actually I'm pissed at Switzerland and I am not upset with USA. Because the papers Switzerland most likely wanted was merely his psych evaluation as if that proved it was his only sentencing.

Frankly, US probably couldn't send all the papers if the key witness backed out of it, and the woman this all happened to as a child has been wanting it to be done and over with so she probably refused to do anything else, which is why they couldn't send all the paperwork.

I suppose I'm just used to the US gov. flaking out on documentation. They should have had the work from the original trial, at least. I'm pissed with the Swiss government, too, for going with the word of the law rather than the spirit. Just...awful all around.

Word to everything in that rant. I really thought, for a little while there, that there would be some measure of justice after they arrested him. Looks like those smug assholes in Hollywood won. There are times when I really consider turning vigilante. I mean, it would be satisfying.
