Okay. So what the hell is a Pokewalker?

Meanwhile, this India lesson plan has left me craving some mattar paneer. Mmm, mattar paneer. I need to get to cooking at some point, since I have a bunch of stuff I want to try, but I'm too tired lately. I'm tired now. Hence my incoherent rambling.

Stuff I want to cook-Our gooseberries are ripening. I'd ( Read more... )

A pokewalker is a little pedometer shaped like a pokeball that levels up your pokemon/makes them like you more as you walk. I came with the rerelease of gold and silver as heartgold and soulsilver and I think you might be able to catch pokemon on there too?

Rabbit sounds delicious! I'm really looking forward to the redblack berries that ripen in a month or so.

Ohhh. So it's exercise encouragement for children and nerds! Like Wii fit. I really should get back into Pokemon games.

You have bushes nearby?

Yup, and also a great way to sneak your pokemons into school! ..Not that I would know anything about that. :D

Yup, in my backyard! They are fantastic.

Pedometer + Pocket Pikachu/2 + ability to have all 493 pokemon = Pokewalker. In a nutshell.

Basically, you put the pokemon on the Pokewalker from either HeartGold or SoulSilver, select the "route" you want to go on (diff routes have diff pokemon and items) and walk around earning 1 watt/20 steps. These watts are currency used to either perform activities on the Pokewalker such as battle and catch pokemon or find items, or the watts can be used to unlock new routes to go on when transferred back to the game cart. Serebii.net and Bulbapedia will probably have better info than I so you'll probably want to check them as well. :3

I just pictured someone putting one of those on their dog and sticking it on a treadmill. *bad imagination, bad!*

I could send you a scoop of matcha if they allow powders in the mail. How much do you need?

(Re Rabbit: There's only one way to eat conys and that's stewed with TATERS!)

Also, I CAN NEVER FIND GOOSEBERRIES ANYWHERE.

Even the co-ops only have black currants.

Would kind of like to try wine made from them if only because of Anne of Green Gables.

T_T Do you have a Harris Teeter? You could try to request gooseberries for their special item request service.

I'd offer to mail you some, but I don't know how well that would go.
