I love rice. I know some people are bread and potatoes people, and I really do adore potatoes, don't get me wrong, but I think I continue to be a rice person at heart. Mmm, rice, how I adore you. I've tended to find Chinese food rice to be very bland. (Could be they don't put salt in it.) We make three cups of rice with a tablespoon of salt in the ricemaker. Used to have a teaspoon of vegetable oil in there, too, but my mom stopped doing that. Made the rice less fluffy. Also, I like Jasmine rice, which is long-grained. There's lots of different kinds of rice.

I am also a big fan of rice.

And also really adore When Demons Walk. I like how matter of fact most of Briggs heroine's are when they fall in love.

Oh, yeah, I definitely adore that aspect of the romance. Matter-of-fact and practical and they still manage to keep their brains and personalities intact!
