If it was for a class I didn't like, studying with friends seemed to help get me through it. Other than that, I don't really have any good advice to offer except sometimes you just have to sit yourself down and study (or in my case, finish translating those doujin....)

There is no way to just get motivation to study something you don't like, or worse, don't give a damn about. May the force be with you ^^
