I loved this. You have a really nice hand with dialogue and you've captured their voices perfectly. I would have loved this kind of snarky/sweet friendship in the show, and would have really loved the writers giving Nora a chance to be her own character rather than an extension of Miles. The same goes for Jason and Danny. You've shown here that, given the right motivation and dialogue they could be such wonderful characters :)

Congrats on this. It was a lovely piece of writing with some extremely insightful character observations. I really enjoyed reading it.

Awww, thank you. This was like 99% dialogue, 1% plot, so I'm so glad you enjoyed the dialogue. I kept having to go "I need to write them doing something, I can't just have them sitting at a camp fire bantering the whole fic".

Yeah, I agree. Nora and Jason have potential as characters, beyond just being love interests, A shame the show doesn't think so.
