Uh, yeah. This is the second part of the untitled Chekov fic, for those that were interested. It was lying around on my harddrive, so I fixed it up and here it is. The first part is here.
Ooh, I'm excited to see this continued, although it's clear poor Chekov has a very long way to go. *hugs him* I like how supportive Scotty is of him, and Jim's faith in Bones.
OUCH. Poor Chekov is reacting very much in character for someone who has been twisted as he has been. And McCoy is endearing with his professional ethics vying with his concern for the kid in front of him.
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it :-) There are a couple more parts, but I'm afraid this one took a backseat to other stuff for a while--hopefully I'll post the rest up soon.
I'm very glad you're still interested--and while it's slow going (just busy with annoying RL stuff--I'd rather write!) hopefully I'll get the next part up soon :-) Thank you very much for dropping by and for commenting.

Thank you! I admit I've been distracted--this was sort of always an odd little fic for me, not my usual fare, although I am rather fond of it--so I'm truly glad you like it! I will see what I can do about putting up the next part soon :-).
im not too sure if you will see this considering just how late to the party i am but i was wondering if you have put any more chapters up of this yet, i cant find any an i was wondering if it was just me being stupid.
Wow, I'm so sorry I missed this comment but I've been really lax with LJ last couple of years. Sorry! So, an extremely late reply, but no, you didn't miss anything---I just never finished this one. One day? But haven't posted anything new in years :-( Sorry, I know how irritating that is as a reader.
