The Jimmy and Clark scenes were brilliant. Those two (Tom and Aaron) have a nice chemistry together which works so well for Clark and Jimmy. I also adored the Jimmy and Chloe scene. Chloe honestly adores him so much, which was quite obvious in her face while she was hugging Jimmy. I don't see why people think Clark is a dumb alien and doesn't deserve Chloe just because his heart has always been reserved for Lana. He adores Chloe as his best friend and I think that is a treasure in itself. It doesn't need to be more than that. I guess I see it as that's the way the ball bounces on this show, regardless of people's preferences.
The Clark/Lex scene was incredible. Michael is amazing as Lex and he and Tom have the strongest chemistry of all of them on this show, in my opinion. It's fun watching the sparks fly between Clark and Lex.

He's a big dumb alien, cause, well, he's a big dumb alien. *g*
All the moping and pining over Lana was understandable, believable even when he was younger. He was so entrenched in his wanting to be normal and Lana so represented a 'normal' life to him. And honestly, your first love *should* hold a special place in your heart. But its time for him to grow up. Lana has shown time and time again that she isn't accepting of 'differences' in people. She's manipulative and self centered, constantly. The stupid thing she said and that was splashed all over the front page about 'if it was Clark that asked her to marry him, she wouldn't have hesitated' was utter bullshit.
Clark did ask her to marry him in Reckoning. *shudder* She did hesitate

I feel your pain and anger. I want my Chlark so very much. Still, don't believe that they are never going to do Chlark, but I do believe they just, once again, put the brakes on it and will continue to drag it out just like in Season 4.
I think that whenever it looks like they're gonna have more time to fill (more seasons) they slow down any Chlark momentum and pull out the lame ass, petrified Clana.
Trespass was so very lame and boring. But the Jimmy and Clark scenes were awesome. And Clark is so in denial. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
I think the idiots in charge have laid some ground work to show why Chloe might adore Jimmy - b/c he actually sees her, desires her, treasures her, pursues her etc. And after years of having Clark overlook her for Lana and even disregard her feelings even as friends, that's probably very powerful. But Trespass showed some Jimmy coolness that the audience can see and respect but Chloe doesn't see that. So it's really hard to see or believe that she could adore or desire him more than
Oh yeah, I loves to whine and bitch and moan about my Chlark, or lack thereof. *g*
I still have a shred of hope for a bit of Chlarky goodness before the end, but honestly, Trespass did a fine job of nailing that coffin shut.
AlMiles and TPTB are utter fools to deny us Chlark at some point. Why the hell alienate a good portion of your audience?
Its very understandable why Chloe would adore Jimmy. Hell, who wouldn't adore a guy who basiclly worshiped her? She's getting to feel a little of the Lana love that has been shoved in her face for far too long.
I think she could fool herself into settling for Jimmy, pushing her longing for Clark back, until she believed that she was truly over Clark. That is until he did that thing he always does, fucking up her world and giving her a smidge of hope.
