ONE: UNTIL THE DAY I DIE

Nov 20, 2010 16:48

[And suddenly, as if catching the middle of someone's sentence.] --Refusing to come with us, brother. Did you do this as well?

[The journal gets lifted up and then higher, catching the face of it's new owner as it is examined. Those green eyes and that silver hair might be familiar to some, if you know his brother.]

It doesn't hurt. [The logical ( Read more... )

[Oh, a familiar voice. If Kadaj was here maybe it really was the Lifestream.]

Do come quickly, brother. [Those worrying thoughts are covered up by a teasing jab - don't be late.]

Tch. [An annoyed hiss, though much less annoyed than it might seem, but it's followed with the closing of the journal. There was nothing else that needed to be said in that moment, and to leave his journal on and open would give indication of his current location, not something he wished publicized at the moment.

It takes awhile, at least a good twenty-to-thirty minutes for Kadaj to find Yazoo. He makes sure to walk up leisurely, ensuring that Yazoo knew that the length of time it took was due to Kadaj's own childish antics and not his inability to locate his own kin in this new world.]

[If anyone is used to, or dare he say, expectant of childish antics from the other, it would be Yazoo. He is however the most patient of all three of them, so the wait does not bother him as he converses with the people in the book, idly picking at the feathers of the wings that had appeared in his back as well.]

Taking your time, brother. [He observes, knowing it was what the other would want him to do. After all, he would not want to be hasty in finding one another. Yazoo is amused at the thought, and it shows briefly on his face before it passes.]

Strangers here know our names.

[There's a slight shrug of his shoulders, and an even slighter smug little grin on his face, but it disappears quickly, replaced with a strong scowl. He didn't like the fact that people he didn't know knew him, knew them; missing memories, bits and pieces of things he should know but doesn't.

It was reminiscent to the feelings he had on Gaia about Sephiroth, about their unknown duty.

He makes a fist, leather moaning, and his feathers bristle in anger.] We were here once before. [a lengthy pause. He has trouble believing the statement, no matter what people have told him. He didn't really want to believe it.] Or so they say.

[Or perhaps Brother was. That he does not say, but knows it could be possible...somewhat, at least. They were used to being known for being familiar, but not for being themselves. Hm.]

Or these Malnosso told them who we were before arrival.

No. [though he wished it were true. He clenches his teeth as he turns towards the direction he came from, towards the village. The people knew too much, acted as if they'd met and spoke; acted as if he'd done something terrible (though, really, it wasn't unlikely).] The Malnosso don't appear to take an active role in their lives. I've heard nothing from them since I've arrived.

[He is quick to fall into step, flexing his bare fingers against the could air. It didn't bother him that much, all things considered, but being without his clothing just... felt strange in general.]

Perhaps another here told them then. [He frowns, and releases the last feather he had pulled out of his wings.] Mother?

[But why, after everything they had gone though?]

[A chuckle bubbles out of his throat, a sarcastic, angry sounding thing. He had no answer, and didn't bother indicating otherwise; he wasn't omnipresent, after all, and for all the answers he had gotten, he was still clueless and confused.]

Perhaps. [Like a hiss. He spares a glance behind himself before changing the subject; they had time to gather answers later.]

You need Velvet Nightmare.
