you could also be mildly allergic to the adhesive.... I'm allergic to surgical adhesive, I even react to the "hypoallergenic" ones. And bandaids.

Yeah, they asked me about whether I usually get reactions to bandaids or other adhesives. I don't, even when I keep the bandaids on for over a week. And usually adhesives stick well to me, but these cover a lot more surface area, you know? And the plasticy texture of the patch might not be breathable (usually bandaids have those pores or they are cloth like in texture).

Anyway. That's the annoying thing. Otherwise, no side effects or anything.

Is it hot and humid-ish where you are? TMI of its own, but we've been having a remarkably humid summer in my section of Arizona (where admittedly, I am used to very little humidity). I have been getting similar sounding red blotches anyplace where my clothes hug my skin (bra bands, elastic waistbands of yoga pants, etc.). I'd wonder if the weather may be partly to blame for it.

Yesterday, I was going to reply to this saying... "It's probably the sweating, but more working out than the weather..."

But this morning the left side of my torso is a little blotchy/rashy (attractive right?), probably from humidity and sweat. Uhg. I am sure all of that is a huge contributor.
