Did you know that my laptop killed itself a few days ago? It's true! So i got the fucker reformatted, and I got a bit of an *upgrade* as well. I now have Windows 7 installed on this baby, which is the operating system coming out after vista's done in a year. woot, i need to reformat mine too, how much did it cost you???

Im wondering if I should buy the vista discs myself and reformat. idk

It costed me free because I'm friends with nerds. He just... had the disc lying around and burned me a copy.

I just got mine in for 50 bucks which isnt free but still a good price, plus i got MS office installed for free

My bf looooooves Windows 7. He likes it so much that he got rid of Ubuntu, which he's been using for years. I'm a Mac girl though, sooo... not likely for me. :P

Re: your second paragraph: THIS IS WHY I MOVED A THOUSAND MILES AWAY FOR SCHOOL. When I moved into my dorm freshman year of college, after a few days helping me get settled I literally had to kick my parents out of my room, lol... I was like "I have waited 18 years for this moment. GET. OUT."

I did that and my mom sat in my room and cried for an hour saying that I didn't love her anymore.
