This was really lovely. Contemplative and powerful. I love fics that address the way Castiel is falling both literally and figuratively for Dean Winchester. And the quiet intimacy of Castiel cleaning the blood from Dean's shoulder really helped the set the tone.

Haha, I kinda figured.
And fallen!Cas (no matter how far or in what way) is my absolute favorite.
Plus, this tiny little ficlet has hopefully cleared up my case of writers block which can lead to BIG EPIC FICS!
