And yes, Ryan should totally be a sloth. It fits so well! And that last picture? hfiodsjfkdkfjsoi YES! Ryan looking up at Brendon all adoringly?!
Gah! Epic love.

And Mikey/Pete actually have a very similar dynamic (at least in my mind) to the typical Ryan/Brendon, so this was just like Christmas for me to write.

Lately, due to all the ~drama, I've been having major writing difficulties when it comes to fandom.
Even this au ryden was a little bit of a challenge to write.
I hope that you have a good, safe flight to China, and hopefully at some point I can make up for not getting you a story sooner.

I love your brain (well I love that even when it's not a Ryden, the Ryden comes through).

I have a bizarre love for Pete/Mikey (I in fact prefer it to Pete/Patrick), so I really enjoyed it. And of course the Brendon/Ryan was super cute. I would like to second the notion above that you write sloth!Ryan because that would possibly be the best thing ever (obviously only if you have time).

Anything else lined up for us? (I only ask because everyone seems to be writing Brendon/Spencer, or angsty break-up fic where Ryan's the bad guy and that annoys me)

Have you heard Brendon's trying to get back in the closet? I'm firmly of the belief that Sarah lurks, and seeing people spout off about Brendon and Spencer coupled with all his "coming out" on stage, probably prompted her to demand he make some sort of declaration about her. It seems bizarre that all of a sudden he's dedicating to his gf instead of proclaiming he likes to fuck boys.

This story was a gift for takkatakkatakka , and she and I have already talked about possibly adding some codas for this.
I really just wrote this so she would have something to read on her vacation, but decided to share it!
But, hopefully in the near future, we'll be adding to this little verse.

OKAY OKAY I THOUGHT OF A CODA THAT WOULD BE REALLY NICE BUT THERE ARE ~LOGISTICS INVOLVED.

If you give me replies to these questions I'll try try try to write one. (They're easy questions.)

a) When is Brendon's birthday?
b) When is Ryan's birthday?
c) what the fuck is Spring Break? What would ryan and brendon do for spring break?
d) while I was away I visted the eden project for the fucking thousandth time (trees are not particularly absorbing entertainment, okay.) and I somehow derived from that, this; "Someone should write an AU where Ryan the disgraced writer/musician/thespian runs away to Yellowstone/An Unnamed Rainforest/Nebraska and lives off the land AS NATURE INTENDED. And park warden/ecogologist/geology enthusiast Brendon stumbles across him and is all like o.O "aren't you cold?" AND THEN THEY FALL IN LOVE UNDER THE STARS AND THERE ARE LITTLE BUTTERFLIES SHAPED LIKE HEARTS AND THINGS.
