For the last few weeks, I got lots of Russian people adding me as their friends. I don't have any real clue why

there's a chance that they may be bots and not real people.

I thought the problem was mostly gone now, but it may be worth looking into

Hmm, I thought that they were adding me because of my Slavic name, appears that I'm not the only one...

Well, I added the first few, but I'm not adding back anymore.

Interesting way of putting up that little info. I had the similar problem with the way I look. I've been asked if my parents are mixed because of my hair. Granted I'm pretty pale, but still...
