You are kind, down to earth, but also volatile. You have the impulsion of a flash flood, but also the grounding of the ocean. Water elemental is a contradictory one, and I think it suits you well.
I can see both a lot of Water and Wind, but I'm leaning a bit more towards the latter since I see it as more likely to blurt something out (i.e. a sudden gust of wind) despite wanting to be diplomatic. I'd say the lazy/enthusiastic split fits well also, since it can be near unnoticeable at times, but at other times capable of sweeping you off your feet. I definitely see it as more free-form than most of the other options, it can be volatile, and is often associated with idealism.
I'm kind of awful at this whole elemental rating thing...so, I was really glad to see that others shared my thoughts of either Wind or Water when reading your application! I think I'm leaning slightly more towards Water overall for you though: water is generally very calm, but give it the right "push" and it can really move! There's a blunt/impulsive quality to water as strong waves tend to be very forceful, but it is diplomatic at times and empathetic as well since water is essential for life and all that. I think water is really varied too since it comes in so many forms (lakes, rivers, oceans, etc.). I think your Dichotomies answers fit it really well too. :)
I think you're Lightning! You're enthusiastic about certain things, sort of blunt, have a varied sense of humor, don't necessarily plan ahead (#3), impulsive (#5 & dichotomy 2), and have a temper. Sounds super Lightning-ish to me, since I see Lightning being more about doing first, thinking later, and is direct in its approach, but not necessarily competitive.
I probably wouldn't have thought of it at first...but I could definitely see the Lightning element fitting for you now that I've read over your application more. Enthusiastic, empathetic, sort of blunt, and optimistic can be associated with Lightning as it is a shock of electricity that can exist in the span of only a moment and can impact potentially everything in that single instant. I could see it fitting for just planning to go to a certain spot for an ideal vacation and then thinking about what to do there as you go along as fitting with Lightning for that very same reasoning I mentioned earlier too. Being impulsive and possibly blurting out something also fits with Lightning to me...though I could see perhaps still trying to be more careful, diplomatic, and getting to the "point" of the matter also fitting rather well with the Lightning element too in a way since you're trying to see all sides of a story in those instances. Lightning doesn't really have to be a very competitive element: its Dexterity attribute in the FF
