I'm actually really excited now to do NaNo. Partly because I finally thought of a story idea... still needs lots of fleshing out and plotting, but I think it'll be fun... but mostly because both my daughters have decided to do NaNo, too! They're doing the Young Writers Program where they set their own word count goal. My 12 yo wants to write 9,

Good for them! And good for you! I wish I had the courage to do NaNo, but I just can't seem to do long fics these days. :P

Thanks! I actually enjoy writing long fics more than short ones. But I love reading both. :-)

Thanks! They are having fun with NaNo so far. We're going to a write-in at the local library this weekend, and they are both nervous and excited for that. :-)

My story is a Merlin AU, of course! Those are much easier to write when I'm stressed for some reason. The boys comfort me, I guess. ;-)
