1) No abuse of the rules

2) Absolutely NO harassment of players, and no godmodding (playing the actions of another character that is not your own). Respect the role-playing abilities of others.

3) All content that is adult rated must be put behind a cut with a warning stating what is under it. This includes fight scenes, sexual content, and fangirling (yes, you know you're here because you do it).

4) Your writing skills must be legible and acceptable to a fully English crowd. No 1337-speak and no Japanese endings (-chan, -san, -sama, etc.) unless the character has it within their personality to use such things in normal speech. Don't throw in random Japanese words (Hai, gomen, etc.) either as they annoy people.

5) Activity is required for this game to go anywhere, so you must post at least once every five days, or let a MOD know why you cannot post or make a post to the OOC community. This game is time based so that every character stays within the same time period (for more information click here). If you can not RP your character during one of the time shifts, post a note in the OOC community about your absence so that the thread you're in can continue on smoothly.

6) Players are allowed to take hiatus from the game. Hiatus limits are up to one full day within the RPG, which is four weeks in real time. Any hiatus character inactive for longer than four weeks, and without talking to a MOD previously, will be considered dropped.

There are emergency situations where sometimes getting into contact with a MOD might prove to be difficult. Whether it's due to a computer breaking down, or any other sort of unforeseen emergency that may arise. Exceptions to the four week rule can be made, but if it's at all possible, it's best that the player in concern get into contact with one of the MOD's and inform us of the situation.

7) First-person posts are restricted to character journals only, and all third person posts are to be placed on the community with proper labeling. For more information and detail see here.

8) All OOC comments are to be placed in the OOC community, iunctus_ooc. Any reports of a character being out of line in the actual RPG community are to be brought to the MODs. I do expect that everyone has watched Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and realize the characterization presented and will do their best to express that characterization.

9) We do not allow use of materia in the game. For more information see here.

10) In regards to character limits per player. Each player can have a total of two characters in the game. Any two characters can be chosen, so long as the two desired characters won't result in them both threading often with each other. If a player already has two characters to RP and desire a third character, then that player would need to contact the MODs (epitaph.mods(at)gmail(dot)com) and discuss it with them.

The MODs do ask that players wait two weeks after their first character has become actively involved in the game before applying for a second character.

11) Have fun, and if you are not for one reason or another, please let a MOD know. This can be a problem with another player, boredom, etc.
