Who: Barret, Elena, Rufus Status: Eh....kinda open When: 1:00 PM Where: Shin-Ra HQ What: When Barret comes a-knockin', someone better answer the God Damn door.
Elena could hear Barret Wallace before she could see him. The man was about as subtle as a rock slide. She had already sent off a quick message to the President telling him of Wallace' presence before the large man even opened his mouth. When he did, she looked up from the computer screen and gave him a disdainful glance, raising an eyebrow. She already had a fairly good idea of what this was about (or thought she did, anyway).
"Yeah, I know," she replied blandly.
"Anyway, wait here. The President should be on his way down."
The look she shot him wasn't lost on him. He didn't like her...mostly because she was a Turk and what it stood for irked him, but also because from what he remembered, she talked too much. Granted, it did his crew a lot of good back then, but were he on the other side of that it'd grate on his nerves to no end. He supposed it had to do with her wishing to prove herself. Years had gone by and she was still there. Apparently she had some skill--at least her skills with a gun were spot on. Her punches however...
"Wait?" He snorted, crossing his arms at his chest, matching her disdainful glance with one of his own, "He's got five minutes."
Elena went back to her work, looking rather bored. "You tell him that, not me," she murmured without even looking up, typing away. "The President operates on his own timetable.'
"I'll be sure to do that..." His rage was pointless, so he exercised restraint, took deep breaths and actually relaxed. He let the leash slip from his temper, but remembering the practice he constantly executed for almost three years, he was able to place his mind that was peaceful and serene. He was actually embarrassed at himself, though he wasn't about to verbally admit it.
"Have you seen President Shin-Ra's new pet?" he asked curiously, his muscles still tense, but he didn't seem ready to lunge at sudden movement any longer.
