Dare I say that you've saved the best for last? :) And with the last line, brought the theme of wizarding riddles started in Thoroughly Inappropriate Riddle full circle ( ... )

I'm so happy that you like it! *squees*

I had a v. simple little ficlet involving a niffler getting loose in Everett's lab and falling into a cauldron of Felix Felicis, thus making it impossible, at least for a while, to catch, but when I sat down to write, this happened. Obviously, I'm still quite engaged in the TIS universe. I may just have to take prompts again.

The Ghoul is still Lucius, but old!Lucius couldn't have been the Ghoul; it interests me to see how he's slowly changed a bit, and why, even if he's still too blind to notice the friend right in front of him.

Thank you for your kind comments! *hugs*

Aw, I really like seeing this sweet glimpse into Narcissa and Lucius' relationship--and just their whole life together with Not!Severus ;) and Daphne and all the kids.

I love the fact that Lucius has come to the point where he moderates his behavior because he doesn't want to disappoint the children or have them think less of him; that he has realized that he really doesn't have anything in common with his old 'friends', along with the fact that he doesn't even like them.

Along with the realization that Narcissa and the girls have been managing him, he's actually taking all of the changes quite calmly.

Everett is obviously having a marvelous time paying Lucius back for all of his earlier woes as Severus Snape. He knows just how to needle him and there is no way that Lucius can retaliate without looking churlish.

I'm also thinking that Narcissa is well aware of who Everett is and won't say a word - even to Everett.

Yay, for the White Ticket! I wonder if its addition to Severus' old potion is what made the formula safe and viable for Narcissa to use?

Nice work and great addition to the story arc.

I do feel sorry for poor old Lucius. Narcissa obviously knows, and Severus is plotting with her behind his back!
